Simple to use. 1 button, on/off. Just my size for a personal usage coffee maker.my Pros: no clock to set, has no timer to turn off unit. My coffee stays hot until I empty the pot and turn it off.my Cons: no pause feature, don't pull the pot until it is done making coffee or you will have a mess.You must turn this unit off before you leave the house! No auto shutoff feature.I can live with all of this.

Straightforward and good for an individual user. So far, it has met my expectations for brewing coffee and I would give it a higher rating, but the product information is not clear. The product information says "the nonstick carafe plate keeps coffee warm for an hour after brewing is complete". That led me to believe it turns off after an hour; however, the unit stays on until you turn off the switch. It DOES NOT turn off after an hour. The product information on Amazon needs to be more accurate. I can't discern that anything happens after an hour....other than the unit stays on.

Almost 10 years of making good coffee for me. My 5 cup has saved me 100's of dollars in store bought coffee and is still going strong. Just right for me to start my day. Easy to clean and care for what else can I say!

Looks good and works great. Keeps coffee hot until you turn the power switch off. Makes what I consider to be 3 American size cups of coffee. Does have a cheap feel when you touch it but like I said it does work great and makes great coffee. Was only$19.95 When I purchased so I think it was a good value.

This is the best 5 cup coffee pot on the market, so much better than “name brands” I thought I had to have. The lid opens up and back for easy water capacity, the handle fits well in the palm of my hand for easy arthritis stability, the carafe is larger and yet more compact, it cleans easily as to remove used coffee grinds. I am glad I found it.

I won’t make excuses for the B&D. It lacks ability to make a truly hot pot of coffee. Perhaps it’s a design flaw. But it raises questions about how it had such good reviews as is often the case with products that fail to meet the minimum expectations. After brewing, and even if I leave it on the warmer a while after brewing. The results are the same - temp is Just above warm. I have bought many MANY coffee makers over the decades. Currently in use; (4i,e,) one 12 cup drop. One 5 cup drip 5-7 years old still works better than this. One Lrg & one small kcup. All of them are years old and all have traveled a few times for wrk or vacay.I bought this ANZN product to replace my small 5 cup that was about 7 yrs old at best. Deapite routine cleaning n maintenance it was over due to replace. However, despite the over use, travel, and age of my old 5 cup, it still makes a better cup of coffee than the product I replaced it with - the product of this review. I gave it a try and sadly I regret that I cannot recommend this product. Dear shoppers. When it comes to this type of appliance, I suggest spending a few dollars more or buy products that allow more than 30 days to return or replace. I remember these little machines often on sale for $10 - not just on Black Friday. Now it’s not that low even on Black Friday. Many vendors once stood behind their products and priority was consumer satisfaction. Sadly, priorities have shifted elsewhere. I’ll update this review with any changes in results of this product purchase. For now I’m looking for the current place to buy appliances with ease and confidence in transactions. I hate writing a bad review. I don’t avoid it. It’s consumers’ duty.
