Love the ambiance these give.

So warm
We bought two and they really keep us warm in the winter. Now we get more use out of our patio during the year. The only thing we had issues with were the assembly. The instructions were not clear and actually were a bit misleading so be very careful when you put them together and look at the details closely. My husband is a mechanical engineer so he was able to figure it out, but it required a couple of disassemblies and reassemblies, which was annoying. Once they’re put together correctly though, these things are amazing and definitely keep you warm. Well worth the money!

Pyramid heaters do not put out a lot of heat. Works great, just like the other sub $200 models. Poor insructions
This is a great heater for the price. Are there better heaters? Sure! Pay more. This is more show than heat, but remember, this type of heater puts the heat up the glass tube and it reflects off the tops "hat" or cap. Pyramid heaters are more show than substance. That's why it is safe to touch the sides when it is turned on. My wife and I sit on our deck a chair on each side, and it is perfect, and people LOVE the ambiance when it is on during parties, and stand near it for some heat. Pick this if you are on a budget and want a nice functional heater and show piece. Instructions are horrible, basically they are fuzzy pictures with no words. But almost anyone can figure out how this goes together, my 14 year old son did just fine. If your not mechanical and intuitive you may have some trouble. I've been using it for weeks, and it fires up on the first click every time. I own 4 of these now, all from different suppliers, and this one is my favorite. bigger wheels for tiliting and roll, and a nice Fire Sense Logo near the handle.

Very nice patio heater.
Very good looking heater. Was not difficult to put together but it takes an hour or so. Be careful not to lose any screws. I lost one and the hardware store didn’t have an exact match. They found similar screws that worked to secure the upper guards with the brackets at the very top of the unit but they didn’t work on the lower part of the heater. So you have 4 screws to play with. I suppose if you call the company they will send you more screws.

Disappointing
Received the Firesense pyramid patio heater in good condition as it was well packaged and UPS took reasonable care in handling the goods. Instructions were severely lacking in clarity and the pictures were small with poor detail. All the necessary hardware (screws-77 in all) were not in a bag but had been screwed into their appropriate holes only to be removed prior to assembly. Key pieces were not marked as to front or back ot their relationship to other parts. Some parts were pre-assembled only to be taken apart prior to the assembly of other parts. The parts alligned well so that the screws were able to be inserted with minimal effort, however the threaded holes were poorly done and some were stripped prior to my assembly. The water bottle at the bottom of the unit that functioned to give the heater ballance and additional weight was poorly engineered. There was an ill fitting plug at the top that caused the water to leak out when the heater was tilted and moved using its attached wheels. This plug was in addition to a screw type drain/filler hole. The top plug was not accessable without removing 4 bolts and the propane tank retaining ring. The diffuser lid (top) was very "flimsey" and not much thicker than heavy duty aluminum and as a result the lid warped considerably during the heating process.Had I not been somewhat negligent in my research I would have purchased a unit from another manufacturer that used more refined engeneering principals and a heaver gage material. To me this is a very basic heater with a very limited life-span. You would be well advised to look elsewhere.

Fairly streamlined to put together but...
The assembly process is pretty straightforward but there are two issues that you should be aware of. First, all of the needed screws are pre-installed into the places where they will be when the item is finishes. So, you need to unscrew and re-screw about 70 screws while assembling. In retrospect, I don't know if this really saves any time vs getting them out of a little plastic bag etc. Second, there are portions of the heater that are fairly raw sheet metal and it's really easy to cut yourself inadvertently on a number of the parts if one is not careful. I would say to consider wearing some gloves but the screws and other items require fine motor dexterity. One possible fix would be to have a plastic guide put onto the edges to prevent slicing your thumb/fingers.The heater works great and the only other challenge is installing the brackets to hold the propane tank. This is one portion of this item that is underengineered and not absolutely clear. The idea is to secure the heavy steel propane tank so it doesn't move around. I do understand that but the placement of the brackets and the process of screwing in lag bolts to hold it in place is not well marked and the sheet metal bottom of the heater and the undersized brackets are not ideal. As far as operation goes, it works well and my I will reserve total judgment for later in the summer when I see how well it winds up working over a few months time. I bought this one because it was priced in the middle, not the cheapest but also not the most overpriced. Time will tell.

Gorgeous and high quality
Gorgeous and heat is ok but not as much as traditional patio heater. We bought heavy blankets and have a fire pit so its not as big of a deal. Makes for incredible ambiance and us a huge wow on iur deck when guests enter to sit around the firepit.

Amazing column of fire!
This is the most impressive patio heater we've ever seen. It wasn't easy to put together, and the instructions are not clear. But it's awesome! It throws decent heat, maybe not as good as some of the more typical overhead models. Our friends have never seen anything like it, yet we saw dozens of them in the sidewalk cafes in Miami Beach. It's a little scary at first, but it definitely worked well. Very happy with the purchase.
