Good glide and smooth finish
I already had many metal crochet hooks acquired over the years but not ergonomic handles and not as pricey as these. Since I'm starting to really get into crochet with blankets and amigurumi, instead of occasional crochet, I thought it would be about time to get a set that spanned sizes and hopefully give my hands a break. I tried out a single G hook that I bought separately locally to see if I liked it first. I did! I had been afraid that the length would feel too short at 5.5" as one of my favorite metal hooks is longer. No problem with the length, the end sits at the edge of my side palm (with my butter knife crochet style). I hardly notice the soft rubber end touching it. The hook is tapered Boye style rather than the inline Bates hook, though a friend who has these thinks the hook is a little of both. The head of the hook (if examined closely) does seem a bit smooshed down so doesn't extend out as much which might account for the ease of getting in and out of the holes. The finish is kind of a frosted metallic and on both acrylic and cotton yarns the hook glides with no problem. The rubbery handles of the hooks I have tried are attached well to the metal part; I didn't detect any twisting of the hook part as I maneuvered the handle. I expect they will last a long time! The only thing I could wish for would be the sizes imprinted on the handles (instead of molded in) as it's not easy to see them. That might have been a purposeful design decision as perhaps the rubber that the handles are made from wouldn't take to a lasting ink. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase.

These hooks make crochet fun!
These hooks are as good as everyone says they are! My thumb sits on the soft thumb grip perfectly and the length of the hook in my hand is right on the money. The tapered aluminum heads are so smooth, with a slightly, pointy tip, that the hook slides between the stitches like butter. You get a complete set between sizes B (2.25 mm) and size J (6.00 mm) so you essentially have every hook you could want. The colors help distinguish the sizes. The only negative I have found is that the size of the hook may be a little hard to see on the hook. It's indented into the grip (so it matches the color of the grip), but not printed, and the font is small. However I had no trouble seeing it. This set of hooks has eased my hand pain so that crochet is more enjoyable and I can stitch for a longer period of time. Although the price may seem high, they are often on sale and remember, you are getting 10 hooks. Mine were $42 making each hook $4.20... well worth the price for this quality.

The GREATEST CROCHET HOOKS OF. ALL. TIME. PERIOD.
As everyone—and their mother’s brother—already knows, these hooks are the 🐐 of crochet hooks! They’re incredibly comfortable to use, sturdy, and super smooth (your yarn will glide like butter). On top of all that, they’re pretty, too—each size comes in a different vibrant color, which I love. The engraved size markings are another win—both the US size and the mm are clearly labeled, so no guesswork needed. And the price? Honestly unbeatable for the quality. I was pleasantly surprised.I’ll be using these bad boys for years to come, and I’d recommend them to absolutely anyone—whether you’re just starting out or have been crocheting forever. Once you try them, you’ll totally understand why every crochet YouTuber, blogger, and designer raves about them—and you’ll be joining in too. Don’t hesitate—just order them already. You won’t regret it!

Best crochet hooks ever
I believe that you should work with the best tools that you can afford. Hands down, these are the best! I've tried many different types/brands of crochet hooks, including cheap sets of Amour knock offs. These hooks are worth every penny. They are well balanced. The grip is comfortable; a slightly rubbery texture. The size is embedded (not printed) on the grip in both American sizing and mm. In other words, it's not going to wear off, leaving you with a mystery hook. The head of the hook is very smooth, no sharp edges or seams to catch on yarn. I've tried these hooks with wool, cotton, acrylic and they just glide through the yarn. The positioning of the grip is just the right distance away from the head to allow me to crochet smoothly without having to constantly adjust my grip. Also, the hooks are multicolored to help differentiate the sizes. They do cost more than other hooks, but the price is well worth it. This set of 10 was $47 vs. $8-$10 each, so buying in a set is the way to go.

I Was Skeptical of the Hype
I was skeptical of how good these could be but omg they are so worth it. I started out using a $6 pack of metal hooks from Hobby Lobby, which got the job done but with lots of catching and tugging the yarn and hand cramps. These Clover hooks go through yarn - even cheap crappy yarn - like buuuuutter! The handle is a great shape and the silicon feels nice. The hook is what makes these so great, though. No catching the yarn, and very consistent stictches. I could not get consistentcy with the HL hooks, but these makes even my cheap wool practice yarn feel smooth and nice. From what I can tell, these are needles with the silicon handle formed around them, not two pieces glued together. They don't weigh any more than the regular all metal hooks.

Nice crochet hook
I finally got this clover crochet set after getting a cheap crochet hook. I can totally feel the smoothness and how it is worth the money to upgrade my tools. Highly recommend this set so you don’t get annoyed by poor crochet hook. I no longer have yarn stuck and it is light with cushion so my hand don’t hard as much anymore. This set have many sizes that you can do small to large basically all project

Fantastic hooks
I got the hooks shortly before Christmas of 2024. So I’ve had them almost 6 months. They are very comfortable to hold. They are light and also not too long. They slide through the yarn like butter and do not snag. The ergonomic handle has held up very well. My previous ergonomic hooks (boye ) on the hand would separate from the metal. So far I have not had that problem with the clover. My crocheting speed has gotten faster with these hooks. I highly recommend these hooks.
