My 3-year-old son absolutely loves these puzzles. They are just enough of a challenge for his age. I love that they come with a shape on the back of them so they know which piece goes with which puzzle. The pieces and the case that they come in are a thicker wood and they can just build the puzzle right on the top! I love the problem solving skills it is teaching.

9 mos ago I purchased a kindle paperwhite 10th? gen. Wasn't really happy with it although it worked fairly well but was really slow. Yesterday I purchased the paperwhite signature edition 32 gb ?. Just got set up and so far I love it. Crisp lettering, very fast page turning. So far a 5 rating but will adjust later if needed.

I own a few of these puzzles. They are made well, are easy to tale along since they are compact and organized in 4 different sections in the box by puzzle. Its nice that the back of the pieces have a design so the child can sort the pieces using those pictures. There is a small picture of each competed puzzle on the side of the box so a child reference to the picture if needed when completing a puzzle the first few times as to how it should look, if needed. Would recommend. Wish they would create more of these type besides for the few other sets they have.

I bought these construction puzzles for my 4 yr old truck loving grandson. He was so excited when he saw these puzzles! He knew the names of all 4 and couldn’t wait to put them together. Melissa & Doug toys are the best; this puzzle set exceeded my high expectation from previous M & D purchases. The box is sturdy. I love how the top makes a nice border to put each puzzle together. The puzzle pieces are smooth and went together easily. My grandson had no trouble fitting pieces together and quickly picked up on putting puzzle pieces back in their “ cubby” as he called it. He had so much fun figuring out which piece went where; challenging but colors were so rich he had no problem looking at the picture and noticing tires or other parts to see if they fit together. I love that he enjoyed an activity that had nothing to do with a screen and he was having so much fun he didn’t want to go home when Mom came to pick him up. I highly recommend M & D puzzles. They are challenging without being frustrating. The puzzle pieces are sturdy and should last through the next Grands that come along. I’m planning to buy one of the other sets soon

Can’t go wrong with Melissa & Doug toys - these puzzles are perfect for 4-5 year olds who are mastering puzzles and love trains and cars! Got them for my nephew and he plays with them all the time. Loves to mix them up to increase the challenge when putting them together (but don’t worry, the backs are marked with a symbol for each set).

I purchased these puzzles for my digger obsessed 2.5 yo. They are his first "real" puzzles with interlocking pieces (as opposed to shapes that fit in a similar shaped hole) and he needed some help with them at first but within days he was doing them 100% on his own. Our set was well made with no splintering wood and no duplicate or missing pieces. The box is sturdy and well made and great for keeping the puzzles organized and portable for travel. I love that he can do them on the little "tray" which is ideal if we don't have a flat/hard surface handy. The puzzles are on the smaller size but the pieces are still large enough for a toddler to manipulate easily and not so small they are a choking hazard for babies. The interlocking parts are very similar shaped so it is possible to connect the "wrong" pieces in a way that physically fits but leaves the picture jumbled, but I don't find that too problematic considering how much value is in the package. I do anticipate the picture will get very worn with use, but that's to be expected. We love these!
