Great fit, takes up less space in the trunk than your standard box, easy set up, good sound nice bass, great quality for the price. CV is the standard in sound been so for a long time, I’m definitely happy.

Didn't sound good at all sent back

I like speakers, sometimes a bit too much. I bought this Cerwin/Vega Sub cause I like CV stuff, I know this is the import CV stuff, but I was hoping for something low-cost while being pretty good and that's what I got.Their PDF has a schematic that makes no sense so I decided to disassemble the sub to see what's what. The tuned-port 2 ohm subwoofer has a full decorative plastic faceplate (brushed black metal look), nice speaker trim rings, simple carpet covering and a good quality spring-loaded terminal cup. The 10 inch speakers are well made, each with a stamped steel basket, 1.87" (appx 46mm) vented voice coil and a very large spider having form fitted lead wires and a pretty decent sized magnetic structure. All this can be seen in my pics.It's said to be made of 3/4" MDF but my measurement shows 5/8" which is still okay with me, though the the MDF is not like the stuff you'd get at a home center... it's soft and not very compressed, my 2-3/4" hole saw passed through it like I was sharpening a pencil. Also, I would've like have seen some batting/insulation inside the cabinet, but that's something I can add. The internal wires are too skinny for me, I upgraded them to an honest 16ga and added a terminal cup for wiring flexabilty later.I really like this Cerwin/Vega subwoofer, it sounds really great and pounds hard and clear.

Subs sound great except everything should be securely mounted with nothing touching the speaker cables. The cables attached to the speaker with push connectors. If anything touches the wire they become unplugged. It would've been better to have these subs connected through some type of screw post. Otherwise they sound excellent and pair perfectly with the Cerwin-Vega Mobile Vega CVP2000.1D CVP Series Monoblock Class-D Amplifier (1000W Rms).

Subs looked good like new until I hooked them up to my new amp and there was no sound....then I disassembled and found the voice coils completely blown out like I've never saw before. This is unacceptable. Look at pics and see for yourself. Shame on you Amazon

Hard too dislike the set up for the price, with a lanzar 800 watt bridged amp, hits good in my crewcab. Won't hit every note and bottoms out too often. Also connectors to speakers are small to hook up. 1 star. Different box and boom so much better.
