Ridiculous packaging
These padlocks are very well built and locks up securely. Since I don't know how to pick a lock, I can't speak to their resistance to being picked. I've have no issues with them whatsoever.The packaging these padlocks come in, is simply ridiculous! They are so insanely difficult to get out; I had to use a pair of pliers and a box cutter, along with some brute force. So ZERO stars for packaging, but five for the padlocks.

Heavy Duty, High Performance Locks
I've bought these locks before and they are my favorite. The longer top loop is perfect for securing our stainless steel and pool gates. They also work fine on the sheds and chaining down a landscaping trailer. Having them all keyed alike saves a lot of grief too. The last set I bought was probably 14 years ago and because they were getting a little harder to use it was time for new ones. Because the locks are subject to weather and dirt, I am pretty pleased they held up so well for 14 years and so I bought the identical Master Lock replacements with the hope they last just as long. I highly recommend these padlocks.
