I spent a little more for this stand. Worth every penny. I play about 3-4 gigs a month and this stand is high quality and am confident it will last a long time!!

The stand itself is great; I had another like it and needed a second one.I have a feeling the one I received may have been opened and returned, because there are scrapes along the side of the plastic base. I'm keeping it because the damage is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the performance, but it gives me pause to wonder about the seller.
