Works quick, but NOBODY WARNED ME (SAD)
(Warning is at bottom)Not sure why some people are having the opposite experience, but this stuff works. I have bought it twice a few months apart. The first time was for rats that had found a way into my attic thru my crawlspace (which I'd thought I'd blocked them out of!). I put some up there every day, about 4 to 5 blocks, and they disappeared Day 1 and Day 2. The rats were running around up there having the time of their lives, they loved it and devoured it. Day 3 there were fewer eaten. Day 4 or maybe 5, this is the sad part, I heard what sounded like whimpering in my attic. It sounded very much like a puppy crying (I thought it was coming from outside at first!). I'm pretty sure it was the rat that was eating up all those blocks. Then, my house was silent. Unfortunately a few days later I heard another one make its way into the attic, probably following the pheromones from the previous one. I did the same thing and that one disappeared, no crying fortunately. No smell either, I think they both went outside to die somewhere. I blocked up what I thought were the entrances and I didn't have any noticeable problems for a few months.Recently, I had smelled the god-awful smell of rodent urine coming through my crawlspace up into my living area and I knew they made their way in again - and so, I bought these baits again. I used bait stations outside in three spots and they were disappearing steadily. Within a few days, I smelled the funk of dead animal. I knew one was dead, probably in my crawlspace. I looked around outside, couldn't find anything. A week later when that funk had FINALLY cleared, boom, dead animal funk again. And like 15+ flies in my house. Another one was dead, and this time super strong. Apparently, it found its way in a kitchen wall or just under. I saw 1 maggot on my kitchen floor the next day, so, yeah, that was traumatic. If there were more, I probably would've fainted. I have an old house w cracks and crevices, so it crawled from wherever (I shudder to think). This was maybe 3 days ago. Anyhow, I refilled the bait stations when I got home today (well, one station - the others are still full). Maybe an hour ago I heard something on the side of the house that the rats seemed to favor. It kind of sounded like wailing or heavy sighing in animal form. I can't confirm if it was a rat (maybe was a possum or raccoon because those pass by sometimes; idk if they make sounds like that, though). But I would feel really bad if it were a suffering rat. I've tried to block them out, but they just keep coming back and being more invasive, so you do what you have to do. Anyhow, no scritching heard tonight. If you have a rat issue, I would recommend these (over other brand I've tried). (1) They will definitely eat it; and (2) It will definitely kill. But if you have a soft spot in your heart, just be warned that sometimes these animals whimper and cry when they're in pain or distressed, so prepare yourself just in case.IN BRIEF: it works, but rats may make noises of distress and you may see maggots if the die in or under your home.

This product works!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I changed up chemical ingredients from what I was using and didn’t seem to be working. One of my neighbors keeps feeding the squirrels which has caused a major rat infestation in my neighborhood. In just 4 weeks I saw a significant amount of rat droppings around the outside of my house. This product kills quickly. I will keep using to keep the rat population in my yard down. Very happy with this product.

Affordable and Effective
Affordable, easy to use, and effective. We had a rat problem in our chicken coops and barn. They chewed through two of my nice plastic bins to get into our dog's food, which they stole from and peed in. They dug gaps underneath our coops, chewed themselves holes in parts of our wooden barn, and even chewed some of our wiring. Our biggest concern was that we plan to hatch chicks, and rats were underneath the brooder house. Rats will kill chicks sometimes even with a broody hen present, not to mention they'll steal food. We tried snap traps and caught a few, but they don't take care of the nest and they have to be constantly reset. In contrast, we simply set the poison blocks in places that our dog and chickens can't reach, like in the barn sink, on the lower roof, or in the gaps underneath the coops where the rats live. Every time they disappeared we replaced them. After about 2 days we started finding dead rats. We found 1-2 almost every day for about a week before the bait stopped disappearing and dead rats stopped appearing. We made sure our dog's food was moved where the rats were not likely to travel for it until the poison had done its job, due to the comments about Vitamin K being the antidote. All in all, barely over a week to take out what was a messy and expensive rat problem, for $25, is well worth the time and money!!

They can't resist the peanut butter flavor
The peanut butter flavored block bait, is the flavorite of the rats and squirrals that are living under my trailer. They can not resist. I have tried other types of traps, and the standard pallet poison options from the hardware store - but these are frustratingly ineffective, the rats walk on by; the kill rate is too slow. However the rats gobble up this peanut butter block bait with a fanzy. The draw back is sometimes the criters die in the walls or under the floor, and the smell is horrible for a few days/week...the smell of victory! Highly recommend this bait for a fast and efficent kill rate. Be mindful to prevent other critters from getting access to it - raccons, oposiums, and dogs also love peanut butter.

AMAZING
We tried other baits, live traps, snap traps, glue traps, we tried shooting them with air guns, and none of them were as effective as this product! This works wonders! We got them all! They were living under our shed and going over to our chicken coop and eating the chicken feed. After we placed the bait we were vigilant about making sure if we found one dead around or in the coop we scooped it up and got it out away from the chickens. I would definitely recommend this product!

THE GOOD and THE BAD
This is what my pest control guy uses BUT...the claim that it "eliminates rat and mice within a few days" is a stretch. The stuff kills mice & rats, without doubt, but it doesn't stop them coming. To the contrary, I think it attracts MORE! I've been refilling the bait stations quarterly for three years - and I still have rats ... and I live in a suburban patio home - not a farm or rural area! I do have a lot of foliage and a small pond ... but that can't be the only problem...I no longer put out bird feeders, I don't have fish in my pond... I don't know what is attracting all these rodents! Tracking down a stink in my garage today - I found a HUGE dead Norwegian rat covered in maggots. Not a pretty picture, so not posting :(
