I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this cabinet for the price. I think it looks very smart and neatly and efficiently tidies away all the clutter in my study. The beech effect matches very well with my other beech effect furniture that is over 20 years old. The only criticism is that the lock is pretty much useless as it could be easily forced but that wasn't important to me. I liked the ease of assembly, it took me 45 minutes (on my own). All the wood parts are numbered and the fittings (screws etc) are identified by letters. I found the instructions to be very clear. I am not expert in putting together flat pack furniture but I'd say this was very easy. I am toying with the idea of buying another to give extra space to accumulate more junk over time!! Highly recommended

I had to replace my years-old stationery cupboard in my home office, so I chose this one at £103 as I thought it should be better than cheap but no more than adequate. It's only for storing stationery and printer cartridges after all.The package arrived quickly and well wrapped. When I emptied it to account for all the parts I noticed some minor scratches and marks on the panels and also noted that there were no assembly instructions at all. Luckily, being of modest intelligence and with experience of Ikea products many times over, I muddled through and assembled it in about an hour.I was very disappointed at the poor quality of the finish and the fragile nature of the components, the whole thing was about half the weight of the slightly smaller one it replaced and seemed flimsy. I levelled the doors easily and the lock seems adequate, although it will never be used.I wouldn't want to put this anywhere other than a home office and I'm glad I have a printer on top of it that hides some scratches that I noticed when I was unpacking it. I suspect that this may have been a second or a return that has been repackaged and sold. Not £103 worth, more like £70 worth.

Instructions say to put screw here but there’s no hole for it only for the other one, should a screw be put in? Was the hole omitted by accident?

Worth every penny and I would recommend it any day. Instructions were clear and every part was labelled. Putting it together took minutes and it was super sturdy too.

I bought this because I wanted a cupboard with a lock.There is a lock but the backside of the cupboard is made of cardboard and they are two cardboard slabs which have a gap in between then when you fit it. So you have a lock in the front but back cam be opened with bare hands. Completely useless for the purpose.Also the manual or steps provided for assembly had missing steps. Quality of hardware provided was poor.

Poor quality instructions (lousy drawings) and cheap fixings using plastic in part instead of wood or metal (in this day and age!).Poor quality all round, total waste of my money.It was delivered promptly and wrapped extremely well to avoid damage.Pity the rest of it didn’t match up.

Two to put together, nice size and sturdy. Is lockable.

Package not good,fitting instructions not clear, good job I’m good at putting up flat packs,still not finished as got to go and get some bits that are missing from pack, price should really have been cheaper for what you get.
