Good square
Good square. Accurate and built like a tank

Excellent quality
Great quality! This is just what I was looking for. It's easily adjustable but very smooth and secure. The metal is thick. Definitely good value here.

Great for the price.
Very square and works well enough. Easy to tighten and adjust but is firm enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna go out of square anytime soon.

Rule is steel. Slider is aluminum.
I might have paid more for an all steel one. But it works well.

Metal frame and 16 inches of working length.
This replaced a like device that was made with a plastic frame instead of metal. It lasted for more than 20 years but got stepped on. This one will outlast the old one because the frame is made of metal and no matter the hazards will not break. It is also 16 inches long compared to the old ones 12 inches so less maneuvering on longer cuts.

I'm a fabricator. In house, out in the field and in a shop. Tons of welding. Lots of hot work in general. These are the best out there. Simple, heavy duty, they stay legible. Love em.
