These are quality knives. They are extremely sharp and feel well in the hand . Well worth the cost. These knives are used on a daily basis and have retained their edge for well over three months. My only word of caution is be careful as I have stated they are sharp.

After purchasing these, a lot of other knives stay in the block. Out of the package, they weren’t as sharp as I would have liked, but a few passes on a stone took care of that. I’ve been using these for a couple of months and all they’ve needed was an occasional touch up with a steel.

I used to have a whole set of Henckels, they are quality knives. Saw this set for a crazy low price so I put them in the rv kitchen. Very useful. As long as your kids or husband doesn’t leave them in the garage or backyard, they will last a very long time.

My mom has worked in a kitchen her entire life. She has also owned her own diner where she was also the cook. So she knows she difference between quality vs mediocre knives. A while back she unfortunately lost most of her belongings and the financial situation was not ideal so she had to sacrifice replacing "luxuries". She is also stubborn and will not accept help. So she bought some cheap knives from a department store and they were deplorable. I decided to order these for her for Christmas. I was concerned that they would not be very good because the price was so affordable. I was wrong. These things are so sharp. They sliced through a tomato like it was air. They have a nice handle and blade length. And it came with a lifetime sharpening offer. My mom is thrilled with them.

Purchased used so great price. It arrived with open package & dull. I easily resharpened them. Comfortable & easily controlled in hand. They are do the job expected.My problem is I am spoiled. These were purchased because after over 30 years of use & sharpening, I broke the tip off my Henkel-Zwilling Five Star paring knife. I don’t remember the 1990 price of the paring knife but it was expensive. It is also known as the double walking man, hand made in Germany of German stainless steel. To compete price-wise manufacturing moved to China and to ??(I can’t remember). The product just doesn’t compare. It works well for the price but not the same.

I love these knives.They're a nice fit for my hand,easy to hold and has a nice clean cut.Light weight and a perfect balance.amazing skill to make a very strong sharp blade with a balance with the handle,Such talent!
