Oh Yes!
After 40+ yrs of installing bad a** stereos, I finally got one of these. Beats soldering the ends by a long shot. Highly recommend!

Very valuable for prototype testing
Love these for arduino projects! The tool itself it’s solid and the ferrules are pretty good quality.

Crimpers are easy to use
I had never used ferrules before but had bought some (before having a ferrule crimper) and tried using regular pliers to crimp them. Regular pliers DO work, but they make ugly and poorly-shaped ferrule crimps. A dedicated crimp tool like this is a joy to use. I never thought that crimping could be so much fun. I'm looking for excuses to crimp ferrules onto wires! The actual ferrules it comes with turned out to be way too small for my needs. I wish I had looked more closely at their size and instead bought a different kit with bigger ferrules. I also tend to prefer ferrules without the plastic insulated ends since I often prefer to use heat shrink instead for a cleaner and more sealed termination. For the price, this kit was great, even for the crimper alone.Note that you must squeeze the crimper all the way down in order for the tool to release and open back up, plus it ensures you've made a good strong crimp. My only complaint is I can't seem to find a ferrule crimper that will crimp from 14AWG down to 6AWG or even 2AWG. They all seem to max out at 7 or 8AWG as the largest wire you can use with these inexpensive crimpers.

Easy to use crimper - very heavy daty.
Easy to use with lots of ferrels and sizes.

Must have
Makes connections look professional and clean. You can also stick small speaker wire connectors in there if you do it just right.

works well
Worked great. Needed it for an inverter that came with spring clips and using stranded wire with them wasn't working well.
