A total life saver for parents
The Diaper Genie has honestly been a life saver since I started using it. It makes diaper changes so much easier and more hygienic. No more running outside with every dirty diaper it seals in the smell and keeps the nursery fresh. The design is super convenient, especially when you’re dealing with a squirmy baby. I love that I can open it with one hand and that it holds quite a few diapers before needing to be emptied. The odor control is really effective, even after a full day of changes. And once you learn how to refill the liners, it’s quick and simple. If you’re a new parent wondering if it’s worth buying it absolutely is. This is one of those baby items I’ll recommend to anyone. It’s been a total game-changer in my daily routine.

Solid diaper pail
Bought this for my second child and it's far superior to the one we used for my first child. I can toss a diaper without using my hands, it opens and closes easily, the smell is always contained, it's easy to replace the bag, and it holds a good amount of diapers. Highly recommend.

The MVP of Newborn Gifts
If you’re shopping for a newborn gift and thinking about cute onesies or another swaddle set—stop. Remove everything from your cart and order the Diaper Genie instead. This thing is a must-have. It contains the chaos (and the smell) of diaper duty like a champ. Easy to use, seals in the stink, and saves your sanity at 3 a.m. when you’re running on fumes and baby just dropped another bomb.It may not be glamorous, but it’s the unsung hero of the nursery. Every new parent should get one of these… preferably before the first blowout.

Good pale misleading advertising
Great diaper pale.. but Amazon mislead me… in the “frequently bought together section” it shows the round bag refills and they do not fit this pale so I wasted my money.

We Have A Septic Tank System And We Use This For Wet Wipes.
We have a septic tank system and when it use to actually rain in Texas instead of being over 100 Degrees every day for the past two or three months, we had to have it pumped out and apparently the Preparation-H wipes that claim to be Septic Tank Safe , are actually not.I was completely embarrassed when our lawn guy that’s been cutting our grass and doing yard work asked me if we had a broken sprinkler pipe or some other kind of water leak. Unfortunately, it was waste from our septic system that we were luckily able to have pumped out before it started backing up into our house. I have never lived in a house with a septic system and I don’t ever want another one either. The problem was with the wipes that hadn’t broken down and we put some of the bacteria in the toilet on a monthly basis , but it wasn’t enough to compete with the wet wipes that are far more effective than toilet paper. We considered buying bidet seats, but after the $500.00+ Bill from the septic system company, we bought a Diaper Genie for our master bathroom. We haven’t had a lot of company since the pandemic and we are basically the on.y two people who use the bathroom that needs some way to get rid of the wet wipes instead of flushing them down the toilet. I knew what they were designed to do as I gifted one exactly like this model to a good friend who had a baby a couple of years ago. Honestly, I would have preferred the Toto Bidet seat , but they are not exactly maintenance free either. We also had just paid a lot more money to have the system pumped out as these wipes are not the easiest to get out of the septic system. The Diaper Genie was perfect and it doesn’t have any issues with smelling bad or so far any problems with odors and it’s extremely easy to use and replace the bag that is designed to fit these units. We have lived in this house for almost 25yrs now, and our neighbors seem to have their systems pumped out every couple of years. This is the first time we’ve had any problems with the system and the contractor who built these homes didn’t install them properly to begin with. The wipes made the pumping process cost much more than our neighbors that we talk with and they don’t even use bleach or other household cleaners that end up in the tank. We have been limiting what we put down the drain as well as he and another neighbor sued the contractor and they had completely new systems installed before we moved in the house. By the time we found out about the situation, it was too late to do anything about the problem except pay for someone else to come in and tear up our yard and fix the faulty septic system. But this was the first time we have had an issue with our system and hopefully the heat that’s been cooking us and our yards has dried out the system. These aren’t just for diapers and we have been completely satisfied with how easy it is to use and dispose of the full bags of wipes. It took some time to get use to using it, as I caught myself flushing wipes down the toilet on a few occasions after we had it pumped out. But it works great for two older people who like clean bottoms. I still see a bidet in our future at some point.
