Hi all,This was a 2 wrench difficulty on a scale of 5Easiest thing to do is take rear bumper off.6 screws and 12 bolts and whole rear bumper comes off.Disconnect license plate light plug tooTaking your time about 2 1/2 hour jobStart to finish. Some will do it faster if a lift is available but not needed.I did it in the garage without lifting……

Certain Jeeps have a bracket connected to the bumper that will have to be removed. Was not mentioned in the installation instructions. Aside from that it’s a very good product. Seams to be heavy duty and was an easy install in y the end.

This receiver installed easily. Once I gathered the few tools necessary it took me about 10 minutes to install. It's good quality and is doing what it's supposed to do. I would highly recommend this to any jeep owner

Installation instructions are the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. I saw in other reviews that some people with newer wranglers like mine couldn't figure out how to install the hitch because there is now a metal plate that is attached to the bumper that gets in the way. It's' actually super easy to deal with.Here's how:The metal plate is attached to the bumper by two small hex screws on the bottom left and right of the bumper. Simply remove those screws and the plat will move freely allowing you to get the hitch positioned behind it. You reuse the two big bolts that were originally attached to the plate and then thread two of the bolts that came with the hitch through the middle two holes. You need none of the nuts because all four bolts will have nuts already welded to the hitch itself and the plate that was there in the way. Once you torque down all the bolts, just replaces those two hex screws to rejoin the plat to the bumper. The fit may be a little tighter because the hitch moves the plate a little so the screw holes are a little further back from their original position. But they are still visible and easy to get the screes back into. I hope this helps others with newer wranglers with mounting this hitch. BTW all of these hitches from China are made this way with two notes welded to the hitch. So this procedure should wrk for any hitch of this basic design.

If you have the 24 Sahara you will see to bolts in by the factory(the nuts are welded on). Their in pretty tight so a logger wrench will help. Then you need to pull the plate from the factory away from the frame there and slide the hitch in. Should fit right in from there and just bolt it on. I attached pictures if it helps.

Easy to install. It does not come with a trailer light kit that must be ordered separately.
