Easy-to-use use. Not sure if got 10 shades whiter, but that's a product line claim, so maybe you have to use all Colgate Optic White products to achieve that. However, I did find the little nouth activator convenient and it didn't make me gag. Small victories!

Comes with good instructions for use. Must have a smart phone to plug light into. Some lightening effects after 5 sessions.

Ok please don't do like I did....I stuck the whole thing iny mouth instead of taking off the cap!!!! Hahahah I was like HIW IS THIS COMFORTABLE??? LOLOL I don't know how it works yet....

I have used the kit 4 times - I skipped a day - I forgot. Here's what it's really about - it's not what I expected.1. You have to have your phone to charge it. You can also plug it into a charging outlet - it does not have it's own power source like most. You do the light for 10 mintues: You turn it on and it runs for 5 minutes and beeps to let you know its half way - it runs another 5 mintues and beeps and shuts off. None of that is in the documentation. I kept taking it out at the 5 minute beep.2. It's a paint/film, it is not a gel that you rinse off after.3. It's hard to get an even layer with the applicator.4. You can't tell how much product is on the applicator and if you're using enough.5. Sometimes you get it right (I guess) with a thin layer you can't really feel after it dries.6. Other times you get a big glob and you can feel a gritty layer on your teeth.7. The film is recommended to stay on your teeth overnight for best results.8. The pen liquid has peroxide and the blue light just accelerates the peroxide chemical process to bleach your teeth.9. The gel to use going forward is expensive. After the pen is empty, I think I'll just brush as usual, then brush on a small amount of peroxide and use the light. Only a few times a week. Too much peroxide is not good and will burn and damage. Maybe I'll just use a peroxide toothpaste and then the light.10. Right now, I have what feels like nail polish on my teeth and it's crumbly and flaking off periodically, causing me to have to spit it out - which is annoying. But my teeth are noticeably lighter. I just won't be using the liquid pen anymore.11. The mouth piece, however, is the best I have ever come across, so I would like to keep using it. You just can't hold it in your mouth like other blue lights and walk around and do stuff - you have to take the power source with you.

This does work and is approved to not errode enamel so is ADA approved and sold by Colgate and Crest. The only problem for me is that I'm missing some teeth so without the partial in... And u can't use this with them in,, it's really hard to bite down on the mouth piece where there r no teeth to grip it.. but I make it work.. privately. It will make a big lightening effect.

Very clunky to use. From the applicator to the light that you have to put in your mouth. I will stick with the whitening strips tyvm

In the past couple of years I went to two separate dentists to professionally whiten my teeth and it didn't work. I was told that professional whitening didn't work for everyone and I was one of the small percentage where whitening wouldn't work.I used this Colgate whitener over the recommended 10 days and noticed an improvement in the color of my teeth though.My particular situation: I have a crown in the front that was put in over 15 years ago. My teeth got stained over the 15+ years so the crown looked whiter than my other teeth. Although my teeth didn't whiten to match the crown there was a noticeable improvement and the crown didn't stand out as much as it did before. I plan to buy additional pens and continue to use this whitener in the future.
