Don’t sleep on a good cable. Improve your internet performance!! Hardline in
I have had NO hiccups with this cable since purchasing! It was obviously really easy to use, plugs right into your standard Ethernet port. It has been very durable as I am still using this same cable a few years later. I see regularly 1gb of download speed to my Xbox or pc AND that’s exactly what I am paying for through my isp. This cable provides the exact level of speed and functionality that I am needing for heavy online usage with little to no lag. Not to mention the braid on the cable itself has held up well with several people walking over there it is taped (yes taped down to the floor going through entryways as I could not go through the ceiling like I planned… physically couldn’t do the job thanks to health issues) and not only people but some dogs and a cat and it’s still going strong! That weave over the cable really offers some quality protection compared to a regular rubber cable.

Strong cable that just works
We have 500Mbps internet speed and a router that maxes out at the same. A Cat5-7 cable should give us about the same speed as this Cat8 cable, but with how cheap they are we went with the Cat8.Ordered a 50-foot braided flat and 16-foot plastic flat (coming later).+Tested the 50-foot cable and it's great, speeds are always hovering around 500mbps.+Build quality seems good, I like the metal connectors.+The cable is fairly easy to bend.If you're getting slow speeds, check your router. Make sure to disable Quality of Service (QoS) and any packet analysis, those things can massively hinder your speeds.Never heard of Smolink brand before, but I'm willing to try their other products based on this.

Such an improvement I'll never go back to WIFI.
Decided to connect my streamer with a ethernet cable instead of WIFI and it was the best decision I've made with my setup. Audio quality was instantly noticeable with music and easily worth the cost. Internet speeds were improved drastically that all movie buffering was eliminated.

Works!
So far so good, works as advertised. If you need the length, the 50 ft is perfect, getting the full 1gb I’m paying for!

Great Cable
I recently purchased the Smolink 50 ft Cat 8 Ethernet Cable, and I’m blown away by its performance! As someone who relies on a stable, high-speed internet connection for both gaming and remote work, this cable has exceeded all my expectations. The 40Gbps speed and 2000Mhz bandwidth are no joke—I’ve noticed a significant boost in my download and upload speeds compared to my old Cat 6 cable. Whether I’m streaming 4K content, playing online games on my PS5, or transferring large files to my PC, there’s zero lag or buffering. It’s truly future-proof, making it perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their network setup. The build quality is outstanding. The shielded, heavy-duty SFTP design feels durable and well-made, and the gold-plated RJ45 connectors snap in securely with no wobble. I’ve run this 50 ft cable across my house—under carpets and along walls—and it’s held up perfectly without any signal loss. Plus, the flat design is a game-changer; it’s so easy to manage and keeps everything looking tidy.I use it with my modem, router, and Xbox, and the compatibility is flawless. It’s also great to know it’s built tough for both indoor and outdoor use, though I’ve kept mine inside so far. For the price, this cable offers incredible value—high-end performance without breaking the bank.If you’re serious about your internet connection, whether for gaming, work, or just everyday browsing, this Smolink Cat 8 Ethernet Cable is an absolute must-have

Delightfully as expected
It works! It's flat, comes rolled up, and the braided sheath doesn't have a 'memory' to it, so it's easy to place flat along surfaces

good, light ethernet cord
It's a good ethernet cord, flat so it can be run over fairly easily without crushing it. It's small and light enough to keep in my backpack.
