Hi Joshi, yes it does. It is printed in colour coordinated with the threads. I would also suggest purchasing a tapestry frame (check tapestry size to get appropriate frame size)

Q: Do you get a paper copy as well as printed on the canvas

Hi u get paper copy with numbers that match colour thread codes that r numbered.. hummingbird was my 1st & I have sewn 2 more since & now on my 4th . I have 2/3 more 2 sew already bought. Good luck worth it!

Q: Hi. which size hoop do i need to work on this?

I didn't use a hoop. I never do, but as it isn't that large, I wouldn't think a hoop was necessary. It is quite intricate but I really loved the result and made it into a small bag which I now use to carry my mobile phone and some cash when I am on holiday.
