We use this in my children's bedroom absolutely brilliant for ambiance or for a seasonal light . Loads of colour options and is quite bright the build quality feels sturdy for this type of light and it's easy to install . Best way to control it through the govee app which gives you options to automate too

The media could not be loaded. These are incredible. I'm so glad I got them. My kids and neighbours are impressed too. I love the how may modes they have and I love how Govee allows all the users to share their DIY creations.My only annoyance is that you can set it up to switch between a compilation of animations but the minimum time for one animation being displayed is 5 minutes. It would be aya more impressive if you could have them automatically switching through every 30 seconds to 1 minute.They're really well made, definitely made to be to be weatherproof and resilient to the harsh winter.These were super simpler to connect to the App. The app is intuitive to navigate. The DIY mode is time consuming but worth it and lots of fun to make your own designs.I'm so impressed with these I'm going to buy a couple more next year.

The ability to control these effects through the accompanying app is a convenient feature that puts customization at your fingertips.However, while the effects are undoubtedly fun, I did find that some of them could be a bit complex and hard to make out. It would be great to see more simple and elegant patterns integrated into the lighting options. Sometimes, less is more, and having the option to switch to more subtle patterns would make these lights more versatile for various occasions and moods.One area where the Govee Curtain Lights have potential for growth is in their interactivity. The ability to send a picture or a specific design to the lights for them to mimic could be a game-changer. Imagine being able to display your favorite scene, artwork, or even a personal message through the lights. This would add a whole new dimension to the user experience and make these lights even more engaging.Installation was relatively straightforward, and the quality of the lights and hardware appears to be decent. These lights WHEN UP look amazing. They work so well and the whole street loved my christmas lighting display. They are bright, easy to use and easy to control on the app if your already a govee fan.My biggest issue is fitting them.Forget the promo videos because they are all rubbish. These are packed so badly in the box that the wires are all twisted and kinked.These lights will produce an image from your phone. This image will only look good if every string of light is straight and in place. Any twists, kinks puts them iff and makes the image look bad. On a windy day, they blow everywhere and tangle - then the effect is totally ruined.Putting them up to work took weeks. I had to find a way to hold every strip in place. I had to use a hairdryer to warm the cables and untwist snd un kink them.Govee really need to use a better cable that does not twist or pack them differently.

Positives-Great concept, good quality lights, easy installation, premium packaging, very bright.Negatives-Strips are not weighted at the bottom so if used outside they get tangled up with just a light breeze (massive issue on high level installations), Giffs option only available on 1 curtain and not when spliced with another and 9 out of 10 Giffs don’t work as the files are too large, only 50% of preset scenes actually resemble what they are, or you would actually use, more preset festive scenes should be added as no fireworks theme pre installed, music option disabled when spliced losing some of the better light shows, very little support or guidance from Govee on how to use all the functions on the app.Summary-The light- Good value for money in regards to build quality and potential, only flaw is lack of weights or securing method for outside use.The App- Could be so much better with a guide or video on how to use the app, remove the very poor themes and add some basic light shows that can be used when spliced, more realistic usable themes, fix the giff issue or explain how to use your own Giffs if they are too large.

Nice and funny the kids love them always a different light effect every night

The media could not be loaded. Really bright display. Chained two together with app and they work together flawlessly. They react to sound / music perfectly. They’re easy to install though I wish there was a rod or something to keep them straight when not hung on curtain rails.
