Broken with crack
The product came with crack and have some dents ... returning it...

Good mallet but thin handle
The mallet does the job well and is good solid wood. However the handle is slim and thus not comfortable to hold for more that a few strokes with a head that big. It feels unbalanced and makes the palm hurt.
