Cheap and easy to use
Mistake friendly, sticks to most materials. Easy to use, ans is hard to lump.

Holds Tight
Using to keep sections of moisture barrier in place on a wood surface. It holds, has strength, & feels secure. Must work accurately - no 2nd try.

Worked as advertised
Held down the underpayment. Allowed us to install the floor over the fully covered subfloor ans the tape held the underlayment perfectly in place. Easy to use. Effective.

Great tape
Purchase this tape to use for a floor underlayment, but have found so many other uses for it.Very handy grippy tape, but doesn't leave marks and is not a pain in the butt to use.You don't need scissors which is nice and it doesn't leave sticky residue. We were able to use it to attach laminate to sides of cabinets and hold it in place while the glue set and for multiple other purposes on our motorhome. We bought extra rolls just to keep them handy because we like it so much ...wish it came in other colors.

Quality
This is my preferred underlayment tape when needed. Always a decent price on Amazon.

Fine for simple tasks. Absolutely never use this on ducts. It's not nearly good enough for that.
Good when it's fresh. But it gets brittle as it ages, so buy it fresh and don't let it sit in storage for an extended period. And absolutely never use this on ducts. It's not nearly good enough for that.I bought 6 rolls of this tape. The first was crummy. It shredded when I tried to unroll it, it tore easily, and it was so brittle that it snapped if I pulled hard on it. And it didn't stick all that well. The second roll was much better; it was stretchy and didn't shred. Even so, the adhesive is only fair; it sticks adequately but not strongly to rolls of underlayment.I compared the two rolls and realized that the crummy roll was older. This tape apparently doesn't age well.

Worked Great
I used this on a recent flooring project, and was happy with the results=== The Good Stuff ===* The tape has enough adhesive to stick to the foil of most underlayment. It is, however, easy enough to unroll, and it resists tearing. You will probably want to use a utility knife to cut it.* The tape is thin enough that it doesn't really add anything to the height of the underlayment.* It unrolls easily enough so that one person can run a 20' piece without any help or spotters.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* Nothing really. My preference would have been for larger rolls, but not really a problem.=== Summary ===This worked well and did what it was supposed to do. By the way, if you are tempted to do without it and just lay the underlayment down, you can probably get away with that....until a little piece of the aluminum foil flap works its way into a joint, and now you have a shiny, glittery highlight to your new floor.
