As a longtime fan of Ms. Minogue’s music, after being won over by Tension (naturally I knew/liked the Grammy-winning summer breakout hit “Padam Padam,” as well as “10 Out of 10” and title track, first), I wanted longer versions (the original version of “Padam Padam” is barely 3 minutes, for instance — I recall reading that the shortened length of today’s songs is in part due to people’s dwindling attention spans and the prevalent use of music on social media, sigh), and this visually-stunning splatter 2-LP set doesn’t disappoint. In fact, I prefer the extended versions to the “original” versions of the songs. (I feel the same way about 2020’s Disco.) I was relieved that the splatter design didn’t cause any issues as some have reported. (I prefer black, clear, and/or translucent colored vinyl to white or opaque colored vinyl.)

I’m impressed with the quality of the pressing. The sound of the record is amazing! Thank you, Amazon!

One of her strongest albums that has survived being played in every format possible for me, if I go out this needs to play on my iPhone, if I'm at home I play it on iTunes and Spotify, she's my idol who just got a grammy for hot dance song 2023 Padam Padam! (2024 ceremony), hope there are more grammys, my Queen Kylie!!

Extension makes an incredible album even better. Extension takes the standard 2023 Tension album and remixes every track into an extended mix. This has become my default go-to version of Tension. While I do wish Extension was also available on CD, the neon pink and green splatter vinyl is gorgeous.
