Comfortable
I have found these to fit well & be comfortable. After I wore them for a while they became even more comfortable. I use clogs or slip ons only when transversing one floor level; I do not use them on stairs. But for staying on one level, these are a go to shoe.

The Best
These are the best, so comfortable from day one. Never want to wear real shoes again.

Birkenstock Saves My Feet
I have pain in my metatarsal (forefoot) area; the older I get, the more padding I'm losing. A podiatrist recommended I always wear shoes with support, even at home. I used to wear slippers with some padding but that just doesn't cut it anymore & I think it led to damaging my feet. Birkenstocks were suggested & since I've owned a pair of the sandals for about 10 years (!), I decided to give them a try as my at-home shoes.I've been wearing them for about 6 months now, every day as soon as I get home. They have made a huge difference in how my feet feel. The metatarsal pain has not gone away completely but it is significantly diminished.I like this slip on/slip off version because it's more like a slipper. They are also pretty much non-marking although you can leave a light mark on a floor if you turn really fast. The mark is easily wiped off with just a damp cloth; no scrubbing. These shoes wear really well. I tend to be a "stomper" & a fast-walker but these shoes can handle it.I normally wear size 7.5 (US size). My feet are average width. The 38 M (EU) fits me perfectly. My toes can wiggle & I can wear thick socks if I choose. There is some break-in time with these shoes. The heat of your foot & your weight will form the cork to your feet. If you've ever tried on someone else's Birkenstocks, you'll know what I mean. Some people have trouble with this & should wear them for a few hours at a time until broken in. I did not experience any pain with my break-in period. You can have these shoes resoled, the liners replaced, etc. at a good shoe repair shop. People love their Birki's & hate to throw them away.I bought 4 more pair of Birkenstocks since I bought these….I have 2 pair I only wear inside my house & 2 pair for running errands/casual wear. They are worth every penny they cost! Your feet are not replaceable so take care of them before they cause you pain.

Weird moulding inside the shoe. Not good. Not good.
I have a superhigh arch, so high that I often can't get my foot into a lot of different types of shoes, and when I can, the arch support is usually lacking. I scoured the net for a pair that would be comfortable and easy to wear for the house, errand running and general casual usage. These Birk's popped up time and time again... so, I went for them after reading all the great reviews. I'm sorry I threw my money away on these... Inside the bed of the shoe, there is a variety of different bumps, ridges and such that, I suppose, are meant to conform to the shape of your foot. When you put the shoe on and stand still it is fine, and actually feels ok, but then you take a few steps and your foot slides around a little (because it is a clog!) and those ridges and bumps wind up in the wrong places and feel uncomfortable and hurty! I thought, "maybe I just need to get used to them, Ill wear them around for a while and see". Not so much. No getting used to these. It's like wearing a shoe with a pencil, and a wadded up napkin inside. So, I wore them outside like a dummy (for desperate hopes that they would grow on me), and now I cant return them. So so so sad. Granted, I bought them online, maybe I should have known better and tried on multiple sizes and consulted a shoe-person in a store; but heck, I've been buying shoes on-line for a while and generally have good luck... Not this time. So, either go try them on in a store and talk to a shoe-expert-person, or just don't buy them unless you like having lumps under your feet all day... :(

I ❤️ Birks but these are not SFB
I love Birkenstocks and have had a pair on my feet and two pairs in the closet since I was a teen. Like all my Birkenstocks, the Boston clogs fit well and are very comfortable. However, I'm giving the clogs a 4 star because the ones I received do not have a soft footbed. It doesn't really matter to me because I've worn the original and the soft footbed and can't tell the difference, but I feel, if the description says "SFB" then I expect them to be SFB when they're delivered.
