Solid Performance with Room for Improvement
I recently purchased the JLab Nightfall Over Ear Wired Gaming Headset and have been using it primarily for work. The audio quality is satisfactory, meeting my needs for clear communication during work calls. The inclusion of a microphone is a definite plus, ensuring that I am heard without any issues. While I find the audio quality to be just okay for my personal taste, it may suit others looking for a budget-friendly headset for professional use. Overall, I would rate this headset 4 stars as it stands up to the demands of a work environment, though there's some room for enhancement in sound quality for a more immersive audio experience.

Just not hitting the mark!
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly headset that gets you through gaming sessions or calls without spending much, this one is perfectly serviceable.Comfort & BuildIt’s surprisingly light and comfortable enough for short-to-medium use. The padding on the earcups and headband isn’t premium, but it does the job. The plastic build feels a bit flimsy, so you’ll want to handle it with care.Sound QualityThe sound is okay for the price — plenty of bass, which makes explosions and effects feel good, but it can be a little muddy and lacks detail, especially for music. Don’t expect audiophile quality, but it works fine for games and voice chat.MicrophoneThe mic is functional — people can hear me clearly enough in Discord and in-game. It does pick up some background noise and can sound a little tinny, but again, it works for casual use.Pros:✅ Extremely affordable✅ Lightweight and fairly comfortable✅ Loud enough for gaming✅ Mic works for chatCons:❌ Feels cheap and not very durable❌ Average (at best) audio quality❌ Mic picks up some noiseVerdict:For a cheap, no-frills headset, this one does what it needs to. Great as a backup or for someone just starting out, but if you can stretch your budget even a little, there are better options out there.

Decent for the price
The sound is amazing. Isn't tinny at high volumes. Brilliant sound for the price. Both in game and watching videos, movies, etc. The comfort for me wasn't the best I've ever had but it was decent. However the headphones only started to get slightly irritating after 3-4 hours of straight use. The quality of the headset isn't the best but it's good enough. It's lightweight and feels decent. I haven't dropped it or anything but I'd imagine it wouldn't break. The cable is annoying and tangles often. Other than that I wouldn't worry about it breaking however it isn't a detachable 3.5mm headphone jack. The mic is brilliant and sounds better than some mics on more expensive headsets.Overall for around £30, it's good value and the main selling points for me would be the sound and mic. With slight compromises to the quality. I'd recommend these compared to other budget friendly headsets from small or cheap brands.

Not the best
The quality of this JLab Nightfall Over Ear Wired Gaming Headset isn't all there in terms of feel. Definitely used cheaper plastic and the audio quality isn't too much to brag about either. It fits just fine and is super easy to use but gets a bit warmer after using more half an hour or so.

JLab Nightfall Over Ear Wired Gaming Headset - 3.5mm Jack Gaming Headset with Mic for PC
This is a fairly decent looking set of headphones with an unusual way of adjusting the fit, using an elasticated band with velcro fastening. The headphones are over-ear, didn't seem very noise-cancelling and, although felt fairly comfortable over the ear, I can imagine getting hot ears pretty quickly after half an hour or so.The sound quality is okay - probably what you'd expect for a set of headphones at this price point. My main issue was that, although it states they're useable with a PC, even "Teamspeak certified" .. I could not get the microphone to work. Which doesn't surprise me greatly as I have a socket for headphones and another for the mic, and any other similar headsets I've had in the past have had those two jacks provided. There was no manual provided, and no information relating to any drivers required. If there's a specific restriction related to using these with a PC, the seller should specify as much.----------For information, I tend to give my "star rating" based on the following system:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A great product that exceeded my expectations.⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A good product that generally met my expectations and the claims of the seller.⭐⭐⭐ – A reasonable product but could be better for the money/in relation to the claims of the seller.⭐⭐ - A product that definitely needs improvement - poor quality/poor value for money.⭐ - Very bad quality and/or value for money. Doesn't live up to sellers claims. Stay away.

Mic not working on PC port but as headphones, it is comfortable and decent sound quality
As a headphone, the sound quality is actually not bad at all. It all depends on the quality of the audio processing of device that the headphones is plugged into. If plugged into the audio port of a laptop, sound quality will likely be bad because laptops generally have terrible built in sound cards, even high end laptops. My PC has a very good Creative Labs sound card so these headphones produced excellent definition of highs and mids with decent base, although the base is too low by default, a graphic equaliser can bring out more of the base without any sacrifice of sound quality. The base sounds really good but as I say, need to be adjusted with a graphics equaliser or mixer as shown in my picture. My problem, with this headset however is with the mic. I can't get this to work on any of my audio ports on either PC, or on my mixer connected to the PC. Which renders this non functional as a headset. I can only use it as a headphones which is a shame. It is a very comfortable headphones to wear, very light, for an over ear headphone. And elastic band provides the comfort overhead. The cushion cups are soft and encapsulating. I also love the primary colours too.If I figure out the mic problem, I will update this review.
