Water Filter Replacement for Berkey® BB9-2 Black Activated Carbon Filters, Compatible with Berkey® Gravity Water Filter System, Pack of 4

I put these in my Berkey, ran three gallons through. The higher the water level, the faster the stream, the lower the water level, the more it acted like my original Berry filters. So basically, it didn’t filter the water. HOWEVER, I tested three glasses of water, the first was the new filtered water. It was 107, then I tested the water straight from the tap. It was 104. Then I tested water from a bottle of water and it was 25. This is not acceptable. My Berkey always tested at 0. I wasn’t exactly expecting zero from these filters but never expected it to be higher than the tap water. I am returning these filters. This is crazy.

I have had no issues with my Berkeley water filter, and these filters are so easy to instal! They leave my water tasting crisp and fresh. I think good filter water is definitely worth it.

I have always ordered from Berkey and paid a whole lot more money for them . They seem to be just as good for a whole lot less.

They fit my Berkey knock off. Without H2O testing how do you really know if they work......

Took our Berkey to the beach and these filters did a great job.

Great economical set of 4 coconut fiber water filters for the berkey. They primed very nicely and are working great. The water comes out very clear and clean. They were very super easy to prime and install. The water tastes great (as in it has nothing in it to affect it after filtration).

Tried these filters as a cheaper alternative to the higher priced name brand filters. Primed and installed these new filters, and water runs right through, clearly its not filtering properly. Our well water tastes the same after going through these filters as it does from the tap. Kept using them for a few weeks to give them a chance and unfortunately went past the return window. I've learned my lesson, don't buy cheap water filters.

As described. It was well packed to prevent damage. Lighter weight than original Berkey filters. No priming necessary. Quick install. water taste fresh and clean... I will monitor how long they last and report back.
