Fantastic bit of kit, CD's are coming alive when popped into this baby!! (not a sponsor honest)
OK bit of context, stay with me here... I'm no nerdy hi-fi buff, you know those guys who spend all night twiddling their knobs (conscious gag there!) For me its a pop it in and off we go kinda thing (stop it!) and this cracking bit of kit ticks all the boxes for me. Loud, easy to set-up, 3 types of EQ option ('Dynamic' is a treat) simple remote (why people want a more complicated one is beyond me) and the dark wood version looks good on my cheapo hotel furniture errrr... furniture. CD sounds fantastic, makes many elements come alive that you miss on a more basic system I.e strings, bass, double bass. I hit it with The 1975, The Japanese House, Joni, The Jam, and of course the Blue Nile as soon as it was up and running. For me a stereo (sooo 80's) has to pass the 'Blue Nile test', which is basically if you close your eyes and think Paul Buchanan is in the room then it's all good!! I have to say this gramaphone thingy passed with flying colours. I nearly made him a coffee, as I felt he was right there with me!!! (a lie) So in conclusion, good sound, easy to use and looks a solid build, could be a bit cheaper? and you get what you pay for I reckon!! Note: the CD holder does whizz out very quickly, and it's streamlined nature means you have to push from underneath to retrieve your prized Mrs Mills album. Pure are are a good brand for this kinda thing, so well worth your hard earned cash. 5 *****

Great DAB radio! Excellent value!
I don't usually write reviews, but after receiving my Pure Classic C-D6 radio I was surprised at how good it was.The Pure Classic C-D6 was abit bigger than I thought, it is fairly deep at 28cm. This being said the build quality of the cabinet is solid. The volume and Selector dials are plastic but are perfectly acceptable. CD tray is abit flimsy but adequate. At £180 you can't complain.DAB Radio... (This is where it shines)DAB radio station were very easy to scan/tune and preset. You get 30 presets which is plenty. It managed to pick up over 120 DAB stations. I was very impressed and happy with this due to some reviews saying they had issues picking up stations. The stations are crystal clear.I was up and running with presets installed within 10 minutes.Sound...The sound quality is more than sufficient and has plenty of power at 30 watts if you wanted to play louder. It also has 3 eq settings, but I didn't notice any sound difference between them.Overall all this is a great system if you want to listen to DAB radio, play cds or Bluetooth music. It also has an aux in! For the price I don't think you could find better.Edit: Update...I have now had this stereo for a month now and it's been working fine but the usb-A socket doesn't recognise my mp3 player. That's not a big issue as the stereo has an 3.5mm aux in input, so I can use that. Also the dab+ radio has been working flawlessly.I would highly recommend this product!

Clarity of sound and ease of use
Nothing to dislike. A competitively priced product - good value for money. A replacement radio with all necessary bells and whistles in our kitchen. We do listen to radio mostly but the Bluetooth and CD elements are v welcome additions. Only criticism (tongue in cheek) is I cannot read the info display when sitting at the table, or indeed from any greater distance than c. 1.5 metres to identify the music being played, mostly radio 3! Recommended.

Excellent product which is very easy to set up.
The radio reception is good and the sound quality is great. You can create a saved list of your favourite radio stations. The CD player is easy to use. There are three eq settings and I found that the 'dynamic' setting for some CDs was too bassy and caused the speakers to make popping sounds. I therefore prefer the 'comfort' setting. The third setting is 'neutral'.I highly recommend this product for its good looks, functionality, ease of use and great sound.

Great all in one sound system
A very nice all in one sound system from Pure. I’ve had several radios from Pure over many years and they’ve never let me down - this is no exception. It’s great for DAB+ digital radio, FM radio playing CDs and streaming from your phone via Bluetooth. It also has connections for external devices if desired. The sound is very good and the unit looks great. As usual with all things electrical the instructions are fairly basic and of the Quick Start type, but the unit is actually pretty easy to set up and there is more help online if needed. A purist would probably want a separate amplifier and speakers etc, but for great quality sound and build in one unit I think that this is really good.

Great quality sound
I bought this as I have loads of CDs and nothing to play them on. I was tempted to buy a much cheaper player, but I am glad that I opted for this, as the speakers are a great quality and give out a true sound. It looks good in my lounge too!

Great compact sound system
Very pleased with this product. Really good sound for its size and useful remote control. Bluetooth and USB work well.Inconspicuous, sits in a corner and does what it is supposed to do very well.
