VIZIO 5.1 Soundbar SE, Wireless Subwoofer, Surround Sound w/Dolby Atmos & DTS:X, Bluetooth Speaker, QuickFit™ Compatible – SV510X-08 (New, 2024 Model)

Had a roku streambar with a pair of speakers and the Bluetooth roku sub before this. I was skeptical when I saw how small the speakers and especially the sub were. Happy to say the bass is a HUGE improvement and the overall sound quality is better than the roku system. Also plug and play on a samsung QLED and vizio app settings are way more customizable. For the price I can't imagine something much better. Don't let the size of the system fool you! It's great!

I purchased this set for my new Hisense 75U7N tv. The tv is great but the sound controls are practically non-existent. So, I purchased the 5.1 Vizio soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers. Warning: don’t try to adjust the settings in the Hisense tv. You’ll never get it to sound right. Get the Vizio mobile app and pair with your tv and then with your phone. Setup was easy. THEN you can adjust the sound from the app to your heart’s content. Easy. EQ as well as preset Movie and Music settings. After that the sound is amazing! Great price. Great sound.

I really really hated this unit at first, I just couldn't get the sound right. I did go through the prompts to return. I had the system set up like the directions said. Sound bar on the TV, bass next to the couch and each surround sound speaker on each side of the couch, and I hated the sound! But I was in Sams club a day or two later and they had this unit set up. They had all the speakers together pointing towards the customer, and the "play" button you can press to try them out. I actually liked the sound alot better once they were positioned together. I went home and gave it a try and decided to keep the set. Some programs I do have to increase the volume, but I have never had to max it out. I think playing with the different sound settings through the app was helpful. For the money I spent I think its a good value. Maybe now that I am more used to the surround sound feel I will move the surround sound speakers next to the couch and see if I like it. TBD

Finally, true surround in Atmos at a reasonable price, the app for adjusting levels, inputs, and mode, works flawlessly. Simple set up. And great quality of sound (even at lower levels) right out of the box. Have had Vizio bars before, but with atmos and true surround, it just sings, and far exceeded my expectationshis. This model is beautifully designed, Great for movies and Amazon music provides 5.1 that sounds great streaming, providing enough bells and whistles, creating, great clean and clear audio, at a price that doesn't break the bank

This was very easy for me to install. Plugged the HDMI into the ARC port on the TV, no setup required it just started playing sound. I did download the app to tune it a bit but it is definitely not required.

Only thing I can say is why did I wait so long to buy them. Great sound quality. Easy setup. Well worth the money

If you just want a cheap surround sound and don’t care about the fancy audio formats, just stop reading and buy it if you have a TV with HDMI audio out (ARC).If you do care about audio formats like Atmos and DTS/X, you may be disappointed. The issue is there is no way of knowing what audio format the system is running. Stereo? Dolby Digital? DTS/X? Atmos? Who knows because it has no way of telling you! If you’re like me you know it’s sometimes difficult getting your media device setup correctly with pass through, then the application on that device’s audio setting for pass through, then since it goes through your TV via hdmi, your TV settings have to be right as well.I replaced a Polk S4 soundbar w subwoofer that did Atmos. That system would have a blue light for Atmos, green for Dolby, grey for stereo. That simple yet effective light worked. The same movie in Atmos sounds much better then this system in that regard. That makes me question if this thing actually does Atmos or DTS. Overall the system works and sounds good so I’m keeping it, but if you really care about audio formats, I would look elsewhere on something that can confirm the format you want and paying for. The price should may you causious and rightfully so.

This little setup makes a world of difference when viewing your TV. It has surprising bass for such a small subwoofer. The treble is awesome too and you can hear dialog in movies and shows really well. You get a great value for the money spent. The wireless subwoofer is a nice touch and the 2 surround speakers are wired to the sub with 2 cords that have a good length to them. The speakers are lite weight and durable. The only thing I don't like is that they don't include a physical remote control with them. You have to use a phone app that can be a bit of a pain to keep connected to the speaker's when you use your phone for other things while watching TV. I had to purchase a remote from Vizio which was an extra $10 on Vizio's website. I mean, just include the remote Vizio, I shouldn't have to purchase it separately after paying a little over $200 on this setup. But besides the remote, overall I'm pleased with my purchase. I would've gave 5 star's instead of 4 if the remote was included. I don't know...I guess it's a way for Vizio to squeeze another $10 our of you!
