Another update: imipaw contacted me after this review and offered a refund without sending back the faulty unit. Wonderful! However it took a lot of back and forth to get to that point, the process of actually getting the refund was a pain in the ass. I am still updating my review to 5 stars though, the 2 feeders I bought that work are great.Update: I started from scratch and as soon as I did a test dispense, E002 came up again, which I found means it thinks it’s clogged. I made sure everything was clear again and gave up, ordered a new one (time’s ticking), and when I get back from vacation hopefully I can get a refund.I bought two feeders for my two cats for an upcoming vacation. I’ve only used them for two feedings so far and one is fantastic, cat loves it, but one of them keeps flashing EO02 and the led light is blinking, like there’s an error of some sort but nothing I’ve read or searched is answering any questions. It still dispenses food on time but it beeps every 10-15 seconds after dispensing, which scares my one cat. I can only get it to stop beeping if I unlock the screen. I’ve unplugged it and taken out one of the batteries in an attempt to reset it - I’m going to take them all out, empty the hopper, and let it sit for awhile and try again.

BUY IT!!! We originally got this for a long weekend out of town and it’s been awesome! Our cat runs to it everyday and we no longer have to wake up super early to feed him either 😅 you set it up to feed portions as big or small as you need, as many times a day as you like so they will get the perfect portion on time everyday❤️

I was advised to get an automatic feeder for my cat as I have been travelling a lot and also to keep him from begging me for food even when I am home. He's learned the machine brings the food not me.This unit was easy to program and worked well right out of the box. I found I had to watch it dump food a couple times to understand how many "units" of food to deliver to the cat, but this was pretty easy.My cat is large but on a diet and this holds at least 2 weeks of food. I like the battery backup so that you can unplug it to move it or clean it without losing the program. This is money very well spent.

I’ve been using the IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a great addition to my pet care routine. The setup was quick and straightforward—even if you’re not tech-savvy, programming the feeding schedule is intuitive. I appreciate the option to schedule up to 4 meals a day and adjust the portion sizes, which helps keep my cat’s eating habits consistent.The 3L storage is more than enough for several days of food, and the stainless steel bowl is a nice touch—it’s easy to clean and feels more hygienic than plastic. The dual power system (USB and battery backup) gives me peace of mind in case of power outages.That said, I do have a couple of gripes. I wish it allowed for more than four feedings a day, especially since I have a grazer rather than a meal-eater. Also, my curious cat has figured out how to nudge the feeder trying to get extra food—thankfully, the design prevents most spills, but it’s something to keep an eye on.Despite those small issues, the feeder has worked reliably and consistently. It’s a great value for the price and makes my life a lot easier, especially when I’m away for the day or sleeping in.

For what it is, it is perfect. This is not a smartphone connected version of a catfeeder. This is a simple, purpose built machine with simple electronics. It is perfectly simple if you just read the instructions. Just measure what a serving is in terms of volume (e.g 1/8 cup) and then design the timing and amount based on calorie intake.

So far works great for my cats. I’m able to set a timer to feed my cats while I’m out of town. You can program the feeder for up to 6 feeds a day. Time of feeds can be set up to mimic your usual feeding schedule and you can control the portions for each feed. Great product for the price!

It's been quite a while since I got this and it still works amazing! Perfect addition for my cat. Sturdy and not too noisy. I just wipe it to clean, pretty easy to clean. I feed my cat twice a day with the serving size about 3-4, and the capacity lasts me about a a couple weeks to a little over a month.

For the price it's nice - large clear food storage so you can see the level, multiple timers, food bowl that can be detached and cleaned... But the one thing I'm missing is having a set of timers that you can turn and off as your schedule changes. I do one set during the week and a different set for the weekend. With this feeder I have to completely delete/change each timer setting. Fortunately it's easy to do, but still a nuisance. With my other (more expensive) feeder there's six timers that you can turn on and off without having to start over each time. Also a small thing but there isn't a way to add a "greeting" so that your cat knows the food is getting ready to drop. But if you don't change your schedule much, it's a pretty great inexpensive feeder.
