FINAL FANTASY I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition - 2024 (NSW)

Got this for Christmas from my wife, and I love it. Getting to go back and play old Final Fantasy games that have been remastered. The pixels look great and its been an awesome experience going back to the past to play these retro games. Highly recommend for any retro game lover, FF fan or someone looking for an old school game experience.

Product arrived as described. I love all of these old FF games, and getting them all on 1 disc is fantastic! On PS4 you install each of them separately. There is no cloud backup for the games like on the mobile versions, unless you have the save backup feature with PSPlus. It's easy enough to backup saves to usb though. Great deal.

Really great value, and nice to have them all on one disc. Fun to play them in order and see how the series has evolved over time. The fast-forward feature makings leveling and grinding a bit easier.

Classic games and their legacy speaks for itself. Go ahead and buy physical copies like this because the value has already gone up. Plus the nostalgia factor and playing versions that were not released in US initially.

This is an amazing collection of the best Final Fantasy Games ever made. Yes, they're effectively running on a proprietary emulator, however, it's the best way to play these games in 2025, natively on your PlayStation console. The improvements added to the game to speed up the slower, somewhat outdated gameplay are incredible quality of life adjustments that make these games fun again.

Love the series, really bought it just to play FF6 again and it's been a great experience so far! Love the quality of play improvements like being able to just choose which bushido attack Cyan does, the sprint shoes no longer requiring a relic, you can choose to listen to the original soundtrack or an arrangement, the list goes on!I do wish it came with a manual, the stickers are nice but I liked the art. Dragon's Den and Soul Arena are also missing from FF6, but those were from the GBA version so it's not a huge surprise. Also, mine came with all six games on the cartridge, just needed to download an update for some.

As someone who completely despised the pixel remaster first launch mostly due to the text font. The cringe inducing badly aligned and visible "modernized" font was beyond terrible and looked like a 4th grade css project. It looked like a bad cash grab mobile port ui with zero thought given to it. Here they added a classic pixelized font option which saves the games to a more tolerable manner.The wide screen view, music, water/haze/graphic improvements add a nice touch to a already existing classic series which you know what to expect for better or worst. Best of all 4x experience + gold boost toggle which saves unneeded hours of grinding minimal exp, which series was notoriously known for back in the day. While it can help reduce grinding it doesnt break the games lile ff7 ff9 did with unlimited limits or infinite hp. You can still easily get KOed especially in ff1 and ff2.Honestly its the best way to replay these games without bootleg mods or infinite gamebreaking cheats. But most importantly SWITCH TO PIXELIZED FONT.
