This is the best snap-off blade knife I've owned, far superior to the usual plastic types. Solid metal construction with substantial rubber grips and a handy snap-off tool built in. I've had this for 7 months now, used every day for everything from cutting thin paper to thick plasterboard. It takes it all in its stride!The only reasons for dropping a point is the lack of any locking facility on the blade. Also, as with virtually all knives of this type, it's primarily designed for right-handers. I'm left-handed so can only alter the blade length with the knife held upside-down. No great problem, we left-handers have learned to compromise on many things in life!

Got fed up with the all plastic yellow snap blade knifes. Brought one of these. Works well, easy blade replacement, good vfm. It's now a go to knife in my work tool kit, used for cables, foam, card, etc.

Used this to cut some artificial grass. Done a fantastic job. Strong and will last a long time!

Review of item: Westcott E-84025 00 18 mm Aluminium Alloy Snap Off Blade Knife.I found the knife felt nice and solid with a nice balance, also, the knife can accept Tajima and OLFA blades which are a better blade.. Negative points: blade blunt quickly; and the plastic snap off clip split on 1st attempt of snapping a blade off.
