Its advertised as shaving gel but its actually a gel that turns into foam when rubbing in your skin. I use a safety razor so foam is hard to use to not mess up my beard lineup. Thats why I turned to these believing it was clear gel, but it isn't. I give 4 stars however because its still is a good product and feel great on my skin. It does all the other stuff it advertises, but the shave gel part i feel is a bit misleading.
