Moen Brushed Nickel Bathroom 16-inch Safety Grab Balance Assist Bar with Storage Shelf for Bathtub or Shower, R2356DBN

We are remodeling our main bath and going with all Moen fixtures and faucets at our contractor's recommendation. The quality is great and the look is stunning. We have a neo-angle glass shower that can be a bit of a challenge when positioning fixtures. We wanted shelf and a grab bar without ruining the clean look of the glass enclosure. This was the perfect solution. It'w well made and goes with well with the shower faucet we chose. It's a clever idea to combine the shelf with the grab bar. It's sturdy and attractive. The shelf is separate so you can clean it when needed. A great idea.

After a minor surgery I needed a safety grab bar in my shower. I researched several products with proper dimensions and landed on this product. I ordered a mounting kit only to find the mounting hardware was included with the bar. I really like the combination storage tray, holds shampoo bottles and can be easily removed for cleaning. This bar is a lifesaver.

I replaced the spigot on the shower head with one two inches longer. No longer have water dripping from the shower head upon shutoff of water.This is an excellent combination shampoo/conditioner/bodywash holder and GRAB BAR. Function and form have a new standard to keep up with! Thanks Moen.

We don't actually need safety rails in the tub just yet, but my 10 year old is tough on things like towel racks which he views as pull up bars. This soap dish is the perfect size for shampoo bottles etc... They look lovely and hopefully will prevent me from having to murder my son. Though they are 16 in on center and designed to be installed directly to the studs, they also have alternate instructions with a very stable installation directly through the drywall (required a hole drill bit). We used this method as it was difficult to be exactly certain where the studs were behind the tile. Because of this method, I was able to stagger my two shelves. Otherwise, they would have to span from stud to stud. I have a friend who is a professional, and would not have felt comfortable installing these myself. I'm absolutely certain I would have cracked the tile. I would recommend having very skilled assistance if not professional installation especially if your shower is stone or tile.

Can't believe I just found this type of item for the first time it is an excellent grab bar and has a nice deep storage area with a removable heavy white plastic tray to keep clean will even hold my large shampoo bottles. We redid our shower and did not want any kind of storage built-ins or those cheap corner shelves and did this instead you could even buy two of them if you needed extra storage we paired this with the plane rod that is 24 in and put them on opposite walls in our shower stall could not be happier beautiful quality.

I added this support bar for my aging mother by the toilet for additional support getting up and down. Installation was fairly easy for studs, “screws NOT included” the hardware they included was for drywall only. But I didn’t want huge holes and I trust the studs way more. The weakest part are mount brackets since this isn’t a solid piece of metal, the part that screws to the wall detaches from the support bar. But once fully attached to the wall it is still quite strong and I would trust it to hold over 200 lbs. It looks quite good for what it is and the shelf is removable if you put it in the shower or bath to clean off the water.

We installed 2 of these in our new roll in shower. They serve to purposes, #1 they work as shelves to hold soap and shampoo and #2 they provide support to hang on to in the shower. I doubt if most people realize that they are support bars.
